 EXECUTIVE STAFF
Director:  Starla Seabaugh  
Biography: Seventeen years of being Director of the PSA volleyball program has prepared Starla well for the responsibility of club director.  She is responsible for the ever-growing recreational and competitive youth program that has grown from approximately 35 teams, one season a year to a premier program with 400+ teams playing four seasons a year.   Her love of children and volleyball make her the perfect choice for Team PSA’s Club Director.  After playing varsity volleyball in high school, her interest turned to coaching her three daughters in the sport. She has accumulated 25+ seasons as recreational coach. She is IMPACT certified.  Starla is married to husband, Bob, with three daughters.
 12 and Under Coaches
Team: 12 Red - National Team  
Head Coach: Monika Sabol
Biography:

Monika Sabol comes from Long Island, New York. She started playing volleyball at the age of 13. She played USVBA for 4 years and in her junior year of high school she made the Empire State Games as a Middle Hitter. She was named New York's #3 Recruit in 1986, where she was also named All-State and All-League. She went on to college where she played one year for a private college in North Carolina as a Setter. She moved to a private school in Maryland her second year and played as an Outside Hitter. She was named All-Conference in 1989. The summer of 1989, Monika took her passion for volleyball to the beach where she and her doubles partner, Vanessa Martinez, played on a traveling beach team for Jose' Cuervo.

After many years of playing volleyball, Monika started a family that now consists of four wonderful daughters. They are all special and unique and love volleyball!!!!!

Monika has coached volleyball for 7 years. She coached 2 years of recreational volleyball in McKinney where she resides with her husband, Rob. She was assistant coach to Amber Spencer for three years and qualified for the National tournament two years in a row.

Monika also helps out with Camps, Clinics and Skills Academy for PSA. Monika is IMPACT certified and plans to continue her education higher as a coach.

Team: 12 Black - Regional Team  
Head Coach: Caitlin Seabaugh
Biography: A native of Plano, Caitlin started playing volleyball at age 8, playing club for 4 years and went on be the Varsity setter for Plano Senior High where she was Varsity Captain and All-District Setter.   While attending college at Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas she helped start and played on their volleyball club team.  She also coached the 7th grade team at Forbes Middle School in Georgetown.

After graduation, Caitlin went to live in Anchorage, Alaska where she played in an adult league and taught Life Skills at Begich Middle School.  Returning to Texas, Caitlin is now the 8th Grade Coach at Frankford Middle School.  She also coaches a PSA Power League team, PSA Volleyball Skills Academy and PSA Summer Camps.  Caitlin is Impact Certified and is looking forward to her second year of coaching club for Team PSA.

Her hobbies include scrapbooking, playing with puppies (particularly boxer puppies), a great novel, watching the Dallas Cowboys and spending time with her boyfriend, Shea.

Team: 13 Red - National Team  
Head Coach: Christina Melvin
Biography: Christina Melvin has played competitive volleyball for over 15 years and coached youth camps for 9 years.  After spending 10 years playing for Front Range Volleyball Club in Colorado, earning numerous all-star team honors, qualifier medals and a USAV 18 Open Gold Medal, Melvin earned a scholarship to Boise State University.  As a player at Front Range, Melvin was able to coach youth clinics in all skill positions every summer.

She continued to coach specialty and team camps each summer at Boise State, during her two years playing.  She started her first two seasons at Boise State as the setter and captain, leading the team to their best season since 1983.

Her sophomore spring she transferred to Texas State University where she continued her success.  As a captain for two years at Texas State, Melvin helped her team win the Southland Conference Championship in 2006.

Melvin graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas State University with a degree in Mass Communications.  After college, she followed her childhood dream and became a TV sports reporter at KXII in Sherman, Texas.  It wasn't long before she went back to her first love, volleyball.

Melvin is now the Women's Volleyball 2nd Assistant Coach at University of Texas-Arlington and she loves her job everyday.  She is extremely competitive, has a passion for excellence and helping youth reach their highest goals.

Melvin is the oldest of three sisters and nine cousins, almost all girls.  In her free time she loves playing and watching sports with her boyfriend, Stephen, and checking out events around Dallas.

Biography:

Personal Information:

I have three beautiful daughters; Kaitlyn 11 a soccer star, Ashley 8 a first year volleyball player, and M’Leah 5 our resident drama queen.  My wife Beth and I enjoy riding our Harleys together as often as possible.

Head Coach: Dawn Anglin
Biography:

Originally from Chicago, IL, Dawn started playing volleyball at 12 years old during her middle school years.  Her military family moved to Monterrey, California where she played under Coach Yokinobu at Monterrey High School.  Coach Yokinobu was previously on the Japanese men's Olympic team.  She finished high school in Berlin, Germany.  As the starting setter and Varsity Captain for two years, her team played in the European League, making the play-offs both years in Munich, Germany.  After high school, Dawn attended the University of Maryland in Munich ad played for the Universities European League as their setter, traveling throughout Europe for tournaments.  When returning stateside, she kept her military affiliation for the next 7 years and played on numerous women's competitive leagues and coed teams at their military duty stations.

 

in 1994, Dawn started her family, but still continued to play on women's competitive leagues throughout the years.  She now has a 15 year old son, who plays football, basketball, and baseball for Lewisville High School and a 12 year daughter that played on a Nationals club team last season as their starting setter.  Both of her kids love volleyball and play both court and sand volleyball for fun and competition.

 

Dawn has been coaching for 5 years.  She started coaching recreational volleyball for the Coppell YMCA, taking two teams each season.  She has coached summer league for Synergy Volleyball Club and was instructor for numerous volleyball clinics for the YMCA as well as her own clinics.  Dawn is looking forward to using her experience as a player and a coach in a competitive environment to develop the girls both physically and mentally this season, while passing on her love and passion for the game to her players.

Team: 14 Red - National Team  
Head Coach: Amber Woolsey-Spencer
Biography:

Amber Spencer is entering her sixth year of coaching club volleyball and this will be her third year with Team PSA.  She is Impact certified as a club coach and is currently coaching the Plano Sports Authority (PSA) Volleyball Skills program, Beach Volleyball Instructor and Power League Coach. 

 

As a senior in high school she was one of USA Volleyball Magazine’s “Top 50 High School Recruits”.  She played at Texas A&M University as a middle blocker from 1996-1999 under Laurie and John Corbelli.  In 1999 she made the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) 1st Team All-American list, with Kerry Walsh, Heather Bowen and other volleyball standouts.  She was the first Aggie to garnish First Team All-American honors by the AVCA.  That same year, the Aggies went all the way to the Elite Eight in the NCAA Tournament, the highest finish to date.  After leaving Texas A&M University she played on the United States Professional Volleyball League (USPV) for three years with some of the best players around the world.  After playing in the United States she went overseas and played professionally in Portugal for Castello de Maia.

 

Amber will coach our 13 and Under Red team with Monika Sabol.  Last year they had a stellar season which consisted of numerous top finishes including a 1st Place finish in the Early Bird and Texas Fest Tournament, a 5th Place finish in the Far Western National Qualifier, a 3rd Place finish in the North Texas Regional Tournament, and  a 12th Place finish at the Junior Nationals Championships. 

 

Amber is married to husband Stephen with a beautiful daughter, Ryan, who just started walking, and have two great dogs Jax and Bliss.

Head Coach: Ally Wade
Biography:

Ally started her volleyball career in the seventh grade and played all through her college years.  She played three years of varsity volleyball at Plano East Senior High, as a middle blocker and outside hitter.  She earned Honorable Mention as a sophomore and First Team All District as a Junior and Senior.  Her North Dallas Jrs. club team finished 19th at Open Nationals her 17's year.  In 2005, Ally continued her career at Division I UT Arlington.  She played through 2008 as an outside hitter for the Mavericks.  Ally was on the Southland Conference Commissioner's honor roll all 4 years as well as the Dean's List.

 

Ally is now attending Texas Woman's University as a counseling psychology graduate student.  She is currently working on her Master's and hopes to continue on to a Ph.D.

 

Ally has been coaching camps and clinics for 4 years now and has coached at PSA for 3 years.  She is entering her second year as a Team PSA coach.  She coaches PSA Volleyball Skills Academy, PSA School Team Tryout Prep Program, and PSA Summer Camps. 

 

Ally enjoys playing with her dog Brutus, spending time with her family and friends, and playing volleyball when she can.

Biography:

Santa Fe High School- Played Varsity all four years; District MVP; All Mainland; All Region.  Played on the Top 18 and Under team for Club Texas as a 14 year old, and continued with the club throughout high school.
